Blog Entry – Aug. 7
There are lots of churches in which August is a very (very!) quiet time
As I’m trying to write something worth reading, there are guests arriving for lunch, people entering the Zufall health van parked in our driveway, participants setting up for a 12-step group and a local farmer at the office door with a crate overflowing with beautiful organic herbs.
While I’m staring at the computer screen, Amy is reorganizing the library, Sandra is finishing up the service guide for Sunday with information provided by Cynthia and Maurice is completing some of the many, many tasks that keep us functioning.
Even in August, things are rarely quiet at Redeemer. It is a unique and happy summer bustle, possible because of the grace of God and your support.
Thanks,
Dave Jones
