I often begin my sermons with this prayer: “May I preach in a way that reveals your love, O God, and may we live in a way that proclaims it!” This past Sunday was evidence of exactly this– proclaiming God’s love.

Dave organized the Sunday School lesson around hospitality, and they prepared to welcome folks walking by the church to the Morristown Festival on the Green with lemonade and cold water. “FREE: Cool Lemonade & Warm Greetings” was the slogan. In the end, about twenty Redeemerites prepared and distributed organic lemonade as well as (gently) inviting people to take copies of our beautiful new brochures. They have absolutely no idea of how many cups of lemonade they gave away because the stuff went so quickly, but they’re guessing it was close to 1,000!
