Redeemer members Cindy Meneghin and Maureen Kilian spoke of their 40-year journey as a lesbian couple at the Adult Forum and again during the worship service.

Singer Christine DeLeon, Yankees organist Ed Alstrom and the Metropolitan Sax Quintet are among the headliners scheduled for RedeemerFest, a series of free concerts and events at Morristown’s Episcopal Church of the Redeemer from June 6-15, 2014.

One man set his boots on a radiator to dry, others charged their cell phones and still others browsed through bags of donated coats for adults and children as they waited for lunch to be served Wednesday at Church of the Redeemer’s Community Soup Kitchen.
A drizzle was falling and thick inches of snow made it hard to navigate but despite the latest storm, Soup Kitchen staffers and volunteers made it in by 9 a.m. to start preparing a sumptuous meal of chicken parmesan, baked ziti, soup, salad and fresh bread.
